Over all, Frankly, I disagree. I mean, this
isn’t a problem only for women of mis representation. A lot of the clips that
are shown inside the tv series from media wasn’t just misrepresenting woman
only. Such as one of the scenes that took out from Desperate housewives. I saw
the series and I know that the man inside are freaking inferior to their woman
where they have to pay for their stuffs and things. So what, the woman are
considered inferior or sexually abused because man kisses them? How about us
that is being misrepresented? In these tv shows, we are obliged to pay for all
women’s bills, cloths, expensive shopping stuffs. This isn’t just a problem of
women, this is a universal phenomenon that all people are controlled by the
media.
Think
about it, just from the example that I just gave you. The media such as that
documentary you just watch purposely cropped out the scenes that they want you
to see where in fact it might not even be true at all. I know I am a bit off
topic, but I think this is a big issue and can be looked at. I actually think
this issue is more important then some women misrepresentation. Why do I say
that? Because both gender are struggling as well. Men nowadays have to dress
stylish, have a good car or a Armani thing to get girls. This is in parallel to
that of women putting up make up. There are just too many things in parallel
and I think the problem of media is much more important.
